Great Wall Ceramics LTD is a prominent name in the ceramic building industry, offering an extensive range of high-quality products such as sanitary wares, tiles, and grouts. Their Flagship Showroom, spanning 2500 sqft, needed to reflect the brand’s commitment to innovation, elegance, and functionality while providing an inviting and immersive experience for customers exploring their premium products.
Design Objective:
The primary goal of this showroom was to create a space that not only showcases the beauty and diversity of Great Wall Ceramics’ offerings but also enhances the customer experience. The design encourages exploration, allowing customers to interact with the products in an inspiring, practical setting.
Design in Concept
We sought to develop a modern, sleek environment that emphasizes the beauty of ceramic products while also presenting them in their most practical applications. The use of natural lighting, complemented by modern lighting fixtures, ensures the products are illuminated to their fullest potential, highlighting their textures, finishes, and colors.
To evoke a sense of grandeur, large-format tiles are utilized for the showroom’s flooring, creating an expansive and seamless look. Showcasing the diversity of products is a priority, so we have divided the space into various thematic zones:
- Sanitary Ware Display: An immersive setup where different sanitary solutions are highlighted through modern installations, allowing customers to visualize real-world bathroom designs.
- Tile Galleries: With vertical and horizontal displays, customers can examine tile textures and patterns closely. This space was designed to engage visitors’ senses and showcase the adaptability of each tile to both traditional and contemporary settings.
- Interactive Product Walls: These walls showcase grout options and other products, providing a tactile experience for the clients.
Design in Details
A core element of this showroom is creating a biophilic-inspired interior that connects customers with nature, reinforcing the sustainable ethos of Great Wall Ceramics. We integrated natural materials like wood and stone, paired with ceramic tiles to create harmonious contrasts. Plants were strategically placed in corners and along pathways to soften the otherwise structured interior and invoke calmness and focus.
Lighting Design: The lighting approach was vital in setting the mood. Warm, directional lights were used to accentuate product displays, enhancing the customer’s ability to engage with product details. The mix of spotlights and ambient lighting created a professional yet inviting atmosphere.
Furniture & Fixtures: Custom furniture was designed to fit seamlessly within the overall design language of the showroom. We used minimalist, modern furniture to avoid distraction from the products being showcased, while also ensuring customer comfort during their shopping experience.
